Vivvi is seeking a Head Teacher for a brand new center in Elon, North Carolina. You will oversee child development, plan thematic units, and lead inquiry-based activities while maintaining strong family communication and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in licensed child care, a Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or Child Development, and a passion for building relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care center
• 2+ years as Head Teacher or similar role in licensed center, including lesson planning and parent conferences
• Bachelor's Degree in ECE or Child Development

Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
• Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children’s curiosity and help them achieve key milestones
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth
• Closely supervise children and adhere to health and safety protocols
