ESHYFT is a tech-first company built on decades of experience in the staffing industry. We help healthcare facilities solve their workforce challenges through Staffing as a Service: a technology platform combined with on-demand access to vetted, credentialed clinicians. We are not a staffing agency. We pair deep industry know-how with modern technology to give skilled nursing, senior living, and hospital operators control of their schedules, visibility into their labor spend, and a reliable way to fill shifts at a lower total cost.
About the role
We’re hiring a Head of Sales & Marketing to own our revenue engine and establish ESHYFT in the market as a workforce solution. You’ll combine modern digital marketing with consultative, relationship-driven B2B selling to healthcare operators, from individual facilities to multi-facility ownership groups.
You’ll lead and coach a team, build a repeatable land-and-expand sales process, and run marketing end to end. You’ll also identify and launch new B2B revenue verticals to diversify and accelerate our growth. In year one, this is a player-coach role: you’ll set strategy and personally lead key customer and enterprise conversations. This role reports to the CEO.
Qualifications
- Own the revenue plan, forecast, and pipeline, reporting to the CEO on revenue, active facilities, and platform adoption.
- Define and champion our solution positioning across every pitch, proposal, campaign, and piece of content.
- Build a go-to-market strategy that combines digital demand generation with account-based, relationship-driven selling.
- Define our ideal customer profile by segment, region, and size, and focus all sales and marketing activity on it.
- Build a consultative sales process that starts with a workforce assessment and quantifies value: fill rate, overtime, agency spend, and admin time.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team through weekly 1:1s, call reviews, and deal strategy sessions; shape roles and hire as we grow.
- Lead enterprise sales into multi-facility ownership groups and regional operators, building relationships up to the C-suite.
- Run marketing: messaging, ROI case studies, thought leadership, LinkedIn, email nurture, website conversion, paid campaigns, and industry events.
- Partner with operations so sales growth matches clinician supply in each market.
- Drive platform adoption and account expansion through quarterly business reviews and a customer referral program.
- Identify, evaluate, and launch new B2B revenue verticals, such as new care settings, customer segments, or service lines, building the business case and go-to-market plan for each.
- Build a modern, AI-enabled sales and marketing tech stack; run the CRM as the single source of truth and publish a weekly team scorecard.
What success looks like
- First 90 days: Positioning and messaging refreshed, ideal customer profile and sales process defined, team roles aligned, scorecard live, first campaigns launched.
- First 6 months: Qualified pipeline doubled, meaningful growth in active facilities and platform adoption, first ownership-group expansion closed.
- First 12 months: Revenue at or above plan, strong net revenue retention, at least one new revenue vertical launched, ESHYFT recognized as a workforce solution, and a team that wins on value rather than rate.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in B2B sales, including 3+ years leading a sales team of 4 or more.
- Experience selling into healthcare operators (skilled nursing, senior living, post-acute, or
hospitals) and building trust with administrators, directors of nursing, and regional or corporate executives. - A track record selling a technology-enabled solution or SaaS, ideally a hybrid of software and services.
- Proven ability to reposition an offer in the market, moving buyers from price comparison to value.
- Hands-on experience leading or closely partnering with marketing, including digital demand generation.
- Strong coaching skills and a history of building repeatable, data-driven sales processes.
- Hands-on expertise with ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and LinkedIn & enterprise tools (Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Ads / Campaign Manager) to build target lists, run outreach and campaigns, and track pipeline, plus comfort with both subscription and volume metrics.
- A track record of opening new B2B markets or revenue verticals and growing them into meaningful revenue.
- Strong skills leveraging AI and technology to drive sales and marketing results, such as AI-assisted prospecting and outreach, conversation intelligence, sales automation, and data-driven targeting, plus the ability to get a team to adopt these tools.
- Executive presence, a hands-on attitude, and willingness to travel to customer facilities. Based in, or able to relocate to, the NY/NJ area.
