Job summary

SuperSwipe is seeking a Head of Reverse Engineering to own the anti-bot roadmap and lead the fight against automation on high‑demand drops. This remote, full‑time role defends merchants and customers while shaping the security posture of our platform.

You will dissect entry and checkout flows, study existing anti‑bot tools, and extend fingerprinting, behavioral signals and proof‑of‑work systems to handle millions of entries per drop without blocking legitimate fans.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with browser internals and request forensics.
• Experience with commercial anti-bot products and understanding their strengths/weaknesses.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in TypeScript or JavaScript; one systems language.
• Comfort operating on production traffic at scale; avoid blocking legitimate users.
• Experimental mindset; eager to run attacks and validate defenses.

Responsibilities

• Take apart automation targeting entry intake and checkout flows; turn findings into detection.
• Study how existing anti-bot solutions work and where they fail; design modern approaches.
• Iterate on fingerprinting, behavioral signals and proof-of-work systems for high‑volume drops.
• Set up feedback loops: replay attacks, measure catch rates and false positives.
• Document findings clearly for the team and merchants.

Every drop is an arms race: resellers automate entries, rotate identities and now write their scripts with AI tools. You will lead the reverse engineering side of that fight as a hands on software engineer and the owner of our anti bot roadmap.## What you will do* Take apart the automation that targets our entry intake and checkout flows, and turn what you learn into detection that ships.* Study how the established anti bot solutions work in practice, where they fail, and what a modern approach looks like when the adversary can generate a new script in minutes.* Iterating on existing proprietary fingerprinting, behavioral signals and proof of work systems that hold up at millions of entries per drop without slowing honest fans down.* Set up the feedback loop: replay real attacks, measure catch rates and false positives, and tune with data instead of hunches.* Write clearly about what you find so the rest of the team and our merchants understand the threat.## What we look for* Deep familiarity with browser internals, request forensics and the tooling resellers actually use.* Working knowledge of several commercial anti bot products and a clear view of their strengths and blind spots.* Strong software engineering fundamentals in TypeScript or JavaScript plus one systems language.* Comfort operating on production traffic at scale, where a mistake blocks real customers.* An experimental mindset.
