Job summary

Humboldt Park Health in Chicago seeks a Director of Regulatory Compliance to lead the hospital's comprehensive regulatory program. This role reports to the VP of Quality & Risk Management and ensures ongoing compliance with TJC, CMS, IDPH, OSHA, CDC, and other agencies while embedding readiness into daily operations.

The Director will coach leaders, conduct tracers, validate corrective actions, and oversee mock surveys, ensuring survey readiness across departments with a strong focus on risk

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in TJC accreditation, hospital operations, and clinical leadership.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is required; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hospital's regulatory compliance and survey readiness program.
• Develop strategic plans to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Interpret new standards and translate them into operational expectations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set regulatory priorities.
• Monitor compliance through audits, tracers, and performance indicators.
• Lead education programs on Joint Commission standards and CMS participation.
• Coordinate survey readiness activities and maintain survey documentation.
