Job summary

HumanSignal is seeking a Head of Quality & Project Enablement for Data Services to define and own the quality pipeline and enablement packages. You will translate complex customer specs into actionable guidelines, design robust sampling and review structures, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

You will lead quality assurance across data labeling and ML training data, ensuring outputs meet specs and providing clear, data-driven quality reports.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality assurance or quality operations for data labeling, human data, or ML training/evaluation data.
• Experience leading a quality function or team.
• Ability to translate complex specs into guidelines and training.
• Hands-on experience configuring review and QA workflows in annotation platforms.
• Proficiency with Claude Code for quality analysis.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer specs into project-ready enablement packages (guidelines, decision trees, edge-case libraries).
• Design the quality pipeline and sampling methodology to verify work before it ships.
• Maintain versioned guidelines and roll out updates as edge cases appear.
• Own final quality sign-off and deliver a clear quality report for each delivery.
