Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a seasoned Quality & CI Leader to drive the quality strategy, strengthen QMS, and oversee audits and certifications across the North America Hub. You will embed a customer-centric Voice of the Customer approach and lead continuous improvement initiatives to elevate quality and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree or MBA advantageous.
• 10–15 years in a similar multinational quality/CI leadership role.
• Strong leadership in Quality Management; CI leadership a plus.
• Ability to analyze performance, solve problems, and manage risks.
• Influencing, communication, change management and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Hub Quality and CI strategy.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Drive capability building and governance across Hub Quality and CI teams.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
• Oversee internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Secure required certifications across all Hub units.
• Monitor processes, analyze trends and drive corrective actions.
• Escalate supplier quality issues and ensure resolution.
• Deploy the Continuous Improvement Framework (Lighthouse, L6S, Lessons Learned).
