Job summary

Liberty Mutual’s Property Claims Analytics group seeks a director to lead the Loss Insights team in the US Retail Markets. You will guide high‑complexity analyses that influence claims strategy and financial outcomes for billions in property claims.

You’ll build a high‑performing team, mentor talent, and partner with executives to ensure evidence‑based decisions and clear communication across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative field; Ph.D. helpful.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience with strong planning, analytics and PM skills.
• Expert knowledge of data sources, tools and business drivers.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Loss Insights team to design and execute high‑complexity analyses.
• Set analytical vision, develop talent, and partner with leadership for evidence‑based decisions.
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations for claims strategy.
