Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a senior Project Controls professional to oversee budgets, schedules, cost control, and change management across multiple projects in Santa Clara, CA. You will implement DPR’s project controls methodologies and advise teams with timely data.

The role requires 8–10 years in project controls or scheduling in construction, a CCP or PSP is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, or scheduling in the construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees setup and implementation of project controls processes, tools, and reports on assigned projects by developing a Project Controls Plan.
• Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts, schedules, progress measurement, cost databases, benchmarking tools, and risk analyses.
• Monitors performance metrics and variance analyses, providing insight to project and client stakeholders.
• Leads development and presentation of Monthly Status Reports (MSRs) and performance reviews.
• Coordinates data aggregation and reporting across multiple systems to provide consolidated project views.
• Manages project Controls Specialists and project team members on DPR standards and best practices.
• Partners with scheduling, estimating, accounting and finance to ensure cost, invoicing and schedule alignment throughout project execution.
