Job summary

Red Cell Partners, LLC is seeking an Engineering Leader to build and steer Production and Infrastructure Engineering, overseeing DevOps, SRE, DevEx, MLOps, and a dedicated support team. You will shape technical direction, review designs, and drive delivery across complex, mission-aware initiatives.

You will mentor engineers, refine priorities, and partner with product, security, and applied AI teams to ensure reliable, scalable systems with strong incident response and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years of people management experience, or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams and aligning stakeholders to outcomes.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge across GCP/AWS/Azure and production operations.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git-based workflows, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Proven background in backend services, APIs, data stores, and full-stack delivery.
• Experience in production delivery, reliability, incident response, and release management.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and guide teams.
• Experience managing customer/partner technical commitments and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring, onboarding, one-on-ones, career development, and performance management.
• Set priorities across infrastructure, reliability, developer experience, testing, and delivery.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, capacity planning, and delivery reviews.
• Participate in design reviews and guide practical solutions with hands-on involvement.
• Ensure release readiness with testing, documentation, and rollback plans.
• Improve cloud infra, automation, CI/CD, observability, and on-call readiness.
• Manage a cross-functional team, align priorities with stakeholders, and resolve dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Applied AI, and Security/GRC on delivery priorities.
