Job summary

Trase is seeking an Engineering Leader to build and lead our Production and Infrastructure Engineering organization. You will manage engineers across DevOps, SRE, DevEx, MLOps and lead a dedicated support team.

You will be accountable for team performance, development, and delivery across these functions. You will bring a strong foundation in infrastructure and software engineering and stay close enough to the work to challenge assumptions, guide technical decisions, and help engineers resolve

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering with 5+ years people management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning outcomes.
• Strong cloud infrastructure background (GCP/AWS/Azure) with Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience shipping production software and leading delivery.
• Ability to turn ambiguous goals into actionable work.
• Customer/partner collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• National security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring, onboarding, performance management and career development.
• Set priorities across infrastructure, reliability, developer experience and delivery.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, capacity planning, and delivery reviews.
• Participate in design and code reviews and investigations.
• Ensure release readiness, QA, and rollback planning.
• Improve cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and on-call readiness.
• Manage cross-functional Red Cell Partners team and align with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Applied AI, and Security/GRC on delivery.
