Datadog is seeking a senior leader within its Product Solutions Architecture to manage a team of expert ICs, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management to drive adoption at scale. You will recruit, mentor, and align stakeholders across the organization to deliver architecture guidance for enterprise customers.

You will engage with executives on architecture and industry trends, influence product direction, and help Datadog customers succeed at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years solving complex customer problems in observability.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience influencing VPs and C-level stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in the monitoring market and customer needs.
• Proven ability to grow and develop a team.
• Experience recruiting individual contributors and frontline leaders.
• Able to think strategically and creatively about a wide variety of challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of expert ICs, aligning with Engineering and Product Management.
• Assist in recruiting and hiring top talent for the team.
• Mentor new hires during onboarding to ramp skills.
• Ensure team alignment to top initiatives and stakeholders.
• Deliver performance reviews and develop individual plans.
• Provide trusted architecture feedback to Product Management based on field experience with Sales/Support/Partners/Customers.
• Advise on architecture choices, data collection, and best practices for large enterprise customers.
• Participate in executive conversations on architecture and industry trends.
