Job summary

Reducto in San Francisco is seeking a Head of Product Engineering to lead the engineering team building our AI-powered document platform. You will set direction for product development on top of our models and ensure fast, reliable, precise, and valuable products.

You'll begin by shipping code yourself before transitioning to leadership. This role requires 3+ years leading small, nimble teams and the ability to work closely with founders and customers to deliver end-to-end features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading teams that built customer-facing applications.
• Experience delivering from 0 to 1 and 1 to 100 in fast-growing environments.
• Willing to ship as an engineer while leading as a manager.

Responsibilities

• Shape what products we build with founders, product team, and customers.
• Create delightful, intuitive UIs that decompose complex document workflows.
• Ideate, prototype and iteratively deliver new features like form filling, translations, document editing and classification.
• Source and recruit product engineers to build the platform.
• Define how we use AI in our building process.
• Collaborate with Platform and ML teams to roll out models and deployment capabilities.
