Job summary

Jobtailor in San Francisco seeks a senior design leader to guide a 40+ person global design team across multiple regions. You will drive UX judgment, product strategy, and scalable design systems while partnering with the CPO.

You will own the design budget, attract and develop top design talent, and expand the San Francisco studio, ensuring alignment with fintech product goals and global leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate exceptional product and UX judgment from strategy to interaction design.
• Generalist UX background with strong product sensibilities.
• Proven track record of attracting and calibrating senior designers and design leaders.
• Experience in fintech or a comparably complex product domain.
• Experience managing senior design leaders across regions and time zones.
• Comfort with company-level planning cycles, including OKRs, headcount plans, budgets, and leadership-team collaboration.
