Job summary

Figma is seeking a Director of Product Communications to shape and tell the product and technology story. You will connect earned media with editorial, social, and events, guiding the narrative across channels and partnering with Product and Engineering to surface meaningful stories.

You will lead a growing team and collaborate with senior leaders to drive impact. The role is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (office 2–3 days per week).

Qualifications

• Experience leading product communications from inside a product-led organization.
• Proven ability to manage and grow teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape a clear narrative for Figma that clarifies product value.
• Build storytelling across earned media, editorial, social, community, podcasts, events.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to explain product and technical stories.
• Lead storytelling for key product moments and launches.
• Advise executives on audiences, channels, and timing.
