Job summary

Raydar is hiring a Head of Product, Applied AI to unify a growing portfolio across consumer, subscription, enterprise, and API products. This principal-level IC reports directly to the Founder and CEO and will build AI-agent systems that expand product execution rather than manage a traditional team of product managers.

• Experience owning product direction end to end as a principal or lead product manager, founder, or similar hands-on product builder.

Responsibilities

• Shape a coherent product strategy across consumer experiences, subscriptions, enterprise tools, and APIs.
• Own consumer product loops: activation, retention, daily engagement, pricing, packaging, upgrades.
• Define enterprise product direction, API packaging, and partner integrations for organizations needing situational awareness.
• Build and operate agent workflows for discovery synthesis, research, product specs, experiment design, forecasting, and launch docs.
• Establish metrics and experimentation practices across conversion, retention, enterprise expansion, and revenue planning.
• Collaborate with the Founder and CEO, customers, and cross-functional partners to prioritize and deliver outcomes.

The role / why it matters

As Head of Product, Applied AI, you will unify a growing portfolio across consumer, subscription, enterprise, and API products. This is a principal-level individual contributor role reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, where you will build AI-agent systems that expand product execution rather than manage a traditional team of product managers.

What you’ll do

• Shape one coherent product strategy across consumer experiences, subscriptions, enterprise tools, and APIs.
• Own consumer product loops, including activation, retention, daily engagement, pricing, packaging, and upgrades.
• Define enterprise product direction, API packaging, and partner integrations for organizations that need situational awareness.
• Build and operate agent workflows for discovery synthesis, competitive research, product specifications, experiment design, forecasting, and launch documentation.
• Establish metrics and experimentation practices across conversion, retention, enterprise expansion, and revenue planning.
• Work directly with the Founder and CEO, customers, and cross-functional partners to prioritize and deliver product outcomes.

What we’re looking for

• 5-12 years of product leadership experience with substantial hands‑on ownership.
• Experience owning product direction end to end as a principal or lead product manager, founder, or similarly hands‑on product builder.
• Consumer product experience across mobile, subscription, or product‑led growth, with startup or small‑company exposure.
• Experience building and operating AI‑agent systems for product workflows, beyond using AI tools only for prompts.
• Strong metric architecture and experimentation skills across conversion, retention, revenue, and plan mix.
• The ability to speak with customers directly, understand complex needs, and turn them into clear product decisions.

Bonus points

• Experience with enterprise or API product packaging and pricing.
• Founder experience or product leadership at an AI-native company.
• Comfort challenging assumptions with customer evidence and metrics while working closely with a founder.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range is $265,000-$310,000 USD, with competitive equity.

Location / work model

This is a full-time, on-site role in New York City, five days per week. Visa transfers are supported.
