Etsy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Product Analytics to lead a team that delivers industry-leading measurement techniques and actionable insights across the buyer and seller journey.

You will partner with Product, Marketing, and Finance to drive decisions and influence strategy, reporting to the VP, Analytics. This full-time role requires 10+ years in analytics and 6+ years leading teams, with deep expertise in experimentation, funnel/retention analysis, and product metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of analytics leadership with product analytics focus.
• 6+ years leading analytics teams, including managers.
• Deep expertise in experimentation, funnel/retention analysis, and product metrics.
• Proven ability to connect data to business and financial outcomes.
• Strong SQL skills and direct work in modern data tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary thought partner to CPTO to shape product strategy through analytics.
• Partner with senior leaders across Product and Engineering to set measurement strategy.
• Manage a large team of data scientists and managers supporting Product.
• Develop analytical frameworks, experimentation methods, and measurement systems.
• Define product metric frameworks and translate signals into business impact.
• Collaborate with Finance to model product contribution for forecasting.
• Ensure instrumentation and data quality with Data Platform teams.
• Conduct own analyses and bring credible insights to strategic conversations.
• Identify strategic opportunities across buyer/seller products and mentor the team.
