Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Our Client is in the final stages of engineering the next generation of its marketing and communications platform. This senior executive position is responsible for developing and executing the overall strategic vision moving forward, including market positioning, customer acquisition, pricing models, and product roadmap to achieve sustained growth. The position will collaborate with other senior leaders, define and execute business strategies, and lead a high-performing team to ensure the division’s success. This leadership role will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the long-term vision, strategy, and goals while ensuring alignment with the overall company objectives and customer needs.
  • Market Analysis: Perform thorough market research and analyze competitors to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of major players in the banking and credit union sectors. Identify emerging trends, customer demands, and areas for differentiation.
  • Roadmap Development and Prioritization: Assist in creating the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities. Leverage competitor insights to prioritize features, improvements, and enhancements.
  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision for current and future products, ensuring they meet the evolving customer demands. Offer strategic insights on product pricing to ensure competitive market positioning while aligning with customer expectations and business goals.
  • Technical Depth & Large-Scale SaaS Oversight: Provide strategic direction on technical architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of SaaS solutions. Work closely with engineering leaders to align technical roadmaps with business objectives and market demands.
  • People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire employees to achieve high performance and deliver impactful results.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to drive successful product development and launches. Act as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decision-making.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop, track, and analyze product performance using data-driven metrics and KPIs to measure success and pinpoint areas for enhancement. Provide consistent updates on product performance, roadmap progression, and competitive trends.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the division, including managing budgets, resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Business Development: Drive growth opportunities, including customer acquisition, identifying new markets, and strategic partnerships.
  • Customer Focus: Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to ensure the company exceeds their needs while delivering exceptional value.

Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree or relevant work experience in business, marketing, technology, or startups; an MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology services, with expertise in P&L management, service delivery, and business growth. Banking vertical experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of leading an organization with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to drive results and solve complex business challenges.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate complex technical requirements into clear business objectives.
  • Expertise in utilizing data analytics to inform product decisions and improve customer experience.
  • Strong grasp of software development processes, system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to drive growth and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategic planning and execution in high-growth environments.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a technology and/or software company.
