Job summary

Build Manage Services, LLC in Cape Coral, FL seeks an Operations Manager for the Pool Build division to lead daily operations, drive growth, and oversee project execution from inception to completion.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, KPI monitoring, and client relations to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery of projects. A strategic leader with deep pool construction knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of pool industry or construction management experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership or operations management role.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Strong operational planning, project management, and organizational abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of pool construction, renovation, and related practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, Microsoft Office, and related PM software.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and metrics.
• Proven track record of driving growth and efficiency.
• Excellent client relationships and vendor negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of short- and long-term operational growth strategies.
• Drive revenue growth through business development and operational improvements.
• Oversee all operational activities including consultations, scheduling, procurement, and installation processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to improve performance and profitability.
• Manage multiple pool construction and renovation projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for project success.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage department leaders and staff.
• Develop departmental budgets, approve expenditures, negotiate vendor contracts.
• Review cost estimates, financial reports, and staffing requirements for projects.
• Implement quality assurance programs and ensure safety compliance.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships and resolve inquiries.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and growth projections for leadership.
