Job summary

Ataraxis AI, a clinical AI research lab, seeks a senior pharma partnerships leader in New York to build and scale our pharma collaboration portfolio. You will own the pharma revenue stream alongside our diagnostics business, identifying target companies, negotiating terms, and translating scientific value into enterprise value.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharma and/or diagnostics business development.
• Preferred: MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, or Master’s in cancer biology or related life sciences.
• Documented track record of leading or co-leading pharma deals in companion diagnostics, biomarkers, or patient stratification.
• Built a pharma partnership pipeline from scratch or secured funded partnerships.
• Fluency in how pharma makes partnership decisions and who budgets sit with.
• Relationships across oncology pharma that can be activated now.
• Comfortable with technical material and finding non-obvious applications.
• Bias for action.

Responsibilities

• Identify target companies, map decision units, run outreach, and lead negotiations to signature.
• Construct novel applications of our technology against each company's development pipeline for scientific, clinical, and business audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with pharma decision-makers and sponsors.
• Bring pharma priorities back to research and product teams.
• Work with research, clinical, product, and legal to scope commitments, structure terms, and sign agreements.
• Work directly with the CEO on pipeline, forecast, and deal strategy.
