Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Performance Analysis Manager to lead an engineering team responsible for supervising and optimizing product performance throughout the full hardware lifecycle. You will bridge design-time predictions and real-world execution, evaluating performance from early simulation and emulation to post-silicon bring-up and production hardware.

Qualifications

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems/software performance engineering, platform benchmarking, or related area.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing technical engineering teams.
  • Full lifecycle experience tracking performance from pre-silicon to production hardware.
  • Proven ability to build and correlate performance models with hardware telemetry.
  • Understanding of compiler pipelines and DSL->IR->target code flows.
  • Experience developing workload testlists and coordinating software release cycles (CUDA cadence).
  • Proficiency in Python automation and practical use of generative AI APIs/models.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Lifecycle Performance Tracking: supervise and maintain continuous performance tracking from pre-silicon through production hardware and post-release maintenance.
  • Expectation Modeling & Correlation: architect performance models and correlate predictions with hardware telemetry.
  • DSL-to-IR Flow Analysis: evaluate performance translation from high-level DSLs through IRs to target hardware.
  • Workload Synthesis & Testlist Build: craft and maintain stress-test suites representative of production applications.
  • CUDA Release Cadence Alignment: coordinate with teams to meet CUDA release timelines.
  • Workflow Automation Using Advanced Technology: integrate AI tooling to automate telemetry analysis and performance reporting.
