Job summary

Nitra is seeking a VP of People to lead and scale the people function during a critical growth phase. You will own the strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee experience to build a durable, high‑performing organization.

The role requires 8+ years in People Operations or HR at director level, experience scaling startups across multiple geographies, and a proven ability to partner with executives to convert business goals into headcount plans and people priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent, or HR at director level.
• Experience scaling small companies to mid-sized organizations across multiple geographies, offices, and countries.
• Proven experience partnering with executives and senior leaders in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the company’s People strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee experience
• Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads to translate business goals into headcount plans, org design, and people priorities
• Lead end-to-end recruiting strategy, including hiring frameworks, workforce planning, and bar-setting across GTM, Product, and Operations
