Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR function at the Sheraton Parsippany in Parsippany, NJ. This on-site role focuses on strategic people management to support guest service excellence.

You will supervise recruitment, training, wage and benefit administration, and compliance with federal, state and local laws, while fostering a positive associate relations climate and program implementation across the hotel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in hospitality preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or HR certification is helpful.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, State and Local HR laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop staff and manage payroll/benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to General Manager, management, and associates to ensure staff quality and professionalism.
• Oversee training programs, instruct classes, and monitor effectiveness and improvements.
• Direct recruiting and interviewing for management positions with verification processes.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and all laws; administer wages and benefits.
