Job summary

Sheraton Parsippany Hotel, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and coach staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment near Newark and NYC.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, inspecting rooms, managing supplies, assisting guests, and enforcing safety and sanitation rules while maintaining cost controls and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate clearly.
• Physical stamina and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff with training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate and, if needed, discipline staff.
• Oversee cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service and public areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Assign tasks to staff to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Provide supplies at shift start and control inventory and costs.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log items in Lost and Found and handle inquiries.
• Lead emergency training to protect guests and staff.
• Adhere to attendance rules and perform other duties as assigned.
