Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti is seeking a Director of People Data & Analytics to drive our global HR analytics strategy, building scalable dashboards and data-driven storytelling for executive decision-making. You will lead a team across SAP SuccessFactors, Databricks, and Power BI, ensuring governance and user-centric design across functions.

You will partner with regional units, COEs, and IT to deploy predictive analytics, NLP, and ONA insights while championing data literacy and capability building

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HRIS, people data and analytics leadership.
• 5+ years managing global HR technology or analytics projects.
• Proven track record leading multi-location, multi-disciplinary global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to present strategic workforce metrics to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive global People Analytics strategy and solutions roadmap aligned with HR and broader business objectives.
• Identify, validate, and benchmark KPIs measuring HR, workforce productivity, talent process efficiency, and skills development impact.
• Oversee architecture, design, and integration of enterprise data models, visualization tools, and databases (SAP SuccessFactors, Databricks, Power BI).
• Direct advanced analytics initiatives including predictive modeling, NLP, and sentiment analysis to evaluate workforce trends.
• Establish data governance, quality checks, and compliance with GDPR and SOX/ITGC standards.
• Advocate user-friendly analytics portals and self-service dashboards for diverse end users.
