Job summary

Foodemploymentstaffing.com is seeking a Head Of Operations Engineering to join our Brookhaven/Morgantown, West Virginia facility. This leadership role oversees engineering operations, collaborates with Maintenance, EH&S, Process, Controls and Reliability Engineering, and drives continuous improvement to support production and uptime.

You will manage capital projects, budgets, CMMS, downtime planning, and safety programs to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing engineering experience is required.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Proficient with process improvement and downtime reduction.
• Knowledge of FDA/food industry standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and implementation of processes, systems, and resources within Engineering.
• Monitor efficiency KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
• Lead initiatives to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
• Manage budgets (CapEx, Training, Support/Consulting).
• Oversee CMMS and data-tracking of maintenance work.
• Coordinate downtime planning with Production and Maintenance.
• Ensure SQF and Food Safety Standards compliance.
• Lead engineering projects with scheduling and resource allocation.
