Job summary

Mountaintop Beverage is seeking a Head of Operations Engineering to lead engineering operations at our aseptic beverage facility. You will collaborate with Maintenance, EH&S, Process, Controls, and Reliability to drive renovations, improvements, and expansions while keeping downtime to a minimum and maintaining strong system performance.

You will oversee budgets (CapEx, training, consulting), CMMS (Upkeep), and engineering design controls, ensuring SQF compliance and safe, efficient production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of related engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Knowledge of FDA/PMO design requirements; GMP in food/beverage.
• Low acid aseptic beverage manufacturing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, development, and implementation of processes and systems in Engineering.
• Monitor and report on efficiency KPIs; drive continuous improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
• Manage budgets including CapEx, Training, and Consulting.
• Ensure engineering drawings, design specs, and CMMS (Upkeep) controls.
• Coordinate equipment contracts and scope of supply; manage downtime windows.
• Collaborate with Production and Technical Integration on schedules.
• Identify resource gaps; plan training and cross-training.
• Assist EH&S with procedures and safety sign-offs (LOTO, Start-up/Shutdown).
• Ensure SQF and Food Safety standards are adhered to.
