Job summary

STN, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA, seeks a Director of Business Operations who will translate strategy into scalable operating plans and lead cross‑functional teams across operations, people, logistics, and administration.

Reporting to the CEO, you will establish processes, KPIs, and accountable owners to enable growth with discipline. This hands‑on leader must move between strategic planning and execution, strengthen systems, and partner with executives on budgeting and governance to drive efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
10+ years in business operations or leadership roles.
Experience building scalable processes, operating rhythms, controls and management systems.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-growing environment.
Experience developing employees and establishing accountability.
Strong problem-solving, financial and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency with modern productivity, reporting, ERP/HRIS, and project-management tools.

Responsibilities

Lead operating cadence and translate strategy into operational plans with accountable owners.
Establish KPIs, service levels, reporting rhythms and leadership visibility into performance.
Identify bottlenecks and drive initiatives to improve execution and scalability.
Partner with executives on planning, budgeting, workforce and resource needs.
Oversee people operations, payroll, benefits, records, and compliance.
Oversee logistics, procurement, and admin functions with cost discipline and control.
Develop and manage operating budgets; monitor expenses and investments.
Delegate execution while maintaining oversight and accountability.
