Job summary

Reframe Systems in Andover, MA is seeking a Head of Operations to scale manufacturing and field operations from prototype to multi-facility production. You will lead the transition to a high-volume, tech-enabled operation and build the playbooks, KPIs, and systems that support rapid growth.

You will guide a growing team, manage plant leadership, and implement robust safety, quality, and supply chain processes to deliver consistent, high-quality homes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operations leadership and at least one large-scale facility launch or ramp.
• Experience managing Plant Managers, Shift Supervisors and operations leads during rapid growth.
• Proven ability to build operational infrastructure from scratch for multi-site production.
• Deep experience with software-enabled operations, MES tools, and automation integration.
• Strong analytical discipline and capability to drive executive decisions with metrics.
• Excellent communication and leadership presence for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition from prototype Andover FAB0 to a new 100,000 sq ft facility (FAB1) in Billerica, incl. layout and equipment commissioning.
• Own factory P&L, throughput targets, labor efficiency, quality metrics and unit-cost reductions.
• Build the 1-2-N operational playbook and the management infrastructure for multi-facility scaling.
• Direct management of Plant Manager and oversee workforce growth from ~20 to 80+ across shifts.
• Institute daily/weekly management rhythms, S&OP, visual dashboards and KPI tracking.
• Establish CI, QA/QC gates, CAPA loops and robust safety programs for a growing hourly workforce.
• Own supply chain resilience: procurement, inventory, vendor relations, logistics and cost visibility.
• Sponsor MES/software collaboration and translate shop-floor needs to software/robotics teams.
