Job summary

Bal Seal Engineering seeks a General Manager in Lake Forest, CA to oversee site operations including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance. The GM will drive continuous improvement, ensure execution of business objectives, and align with strategic direction.

This role reports to the VP/GM PMC Block and requires strong leadership, Lean/Six Sigma experience, and a track record of optimizing productivity and delivery in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for manufacturing operations including Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and EH&S.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligning with company objectives and growth.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and inventory performance.
• Lead capacity planning, workforce planning, and capital investment initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and quality management systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to support NPI, production readiness, and program execution.
• Analyze operational and financial performance metrics and communicate results to executive leadership.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to quality, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, inventory management.
