Job summary

TAPCO is seeking a Director of Operations Engineering to lead the Manufacturing and Applications Engineering teams in a high-mix, low-volume signage and warning systems environment. You will drive continuous improvement, develop policies, and oversee project execution to meet schedule and budget objectives.

You will coach engineers, establish goals, and manage resources to maximize throughput, quality, and efficiency while collaborating across functions to support strategic growth and ERP-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years leadership of engineering/continuous improvement teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers.
• Set departmental goals and project portfolios aligned with business objectives.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
• Manage engineering resources and project prioritization for maximum impact.
