Job summary

TAPCO, a company focused on safer roads and communities, seeks a Director of Operations Engineering. Lead the ME and Applications Engineering teams from quote to production release, driving cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will own policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency in a low volume, high mix environment. The role requires ownership of projects to meet business schedules and budgets, with a focus on engineering leadership and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Lead a team of Industrial Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop policies and procedures to improve quality and efficiency in a low volume, high mix environment.
• Apply Lean manufacturing techniques and data-driven decision making to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve throughput and revenue growth.
• Develop labor standards, routing structures, and production time estimates.
