Job summary

finalREV is a startup in Berkeley building automated metal part manufacturing and software for smarter shop operations. We seek a Head of Operations who will own day-to-day shop functions, deliver reliable customer outcomes, and partner with the founders to scale capabilities.

You will implement repeatable processes, monitor KPIs across financial and service metrics, and lead hiring and training to support rapid growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience running or managing manufacturing or other complex physical operations.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• High agency and bias toward action; deliver results.
• Turn messy processes into simple, repeatable systems.
• Able to measure and analyze financial and operational data.
• High software fluency and quick learning of internal/third-party tools.

Responsibilities

• Turn complexity in the shop into well defined systems.
• Own day to day shop operations with focus on trust and reliability for customers (fast inquiries, transparency, high quality, on-time delivery).
• Instrument and monitor manufacturing operations with clear KPIs (financial, customer service and growth).
• Work with founders on capex decisions.
• Establish hiring and training programs.

finalREV is a startup building the next generation of automated metal part manufacturing. We operate a quick turn CNC machine shop in Berkeley California and build our own software / automation to make our shop work faster, smarter, and more autonomously.

We’re looking for a Head of Operations to join our team. This is a uniquely high-ownership role. You’ll work directly with the founders and have significant influence over how the company operates, how we deploy capital, and how we scale.

• Keeping everyone aimed at the few things that actually matter.
• Personally owning commitments and closing loops.
• Moving quickly from discussion to action.
• Coordinating customers, jobs, people, machines, materials, and dependencies.
