Job summary

Mesh is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the Full-Stack Web3 team building the products and infrastructure for a crypto payments platform. You will own the technical strategy, oversee multi-chain integrations, wallet infrastructure, and on/off-chain orchestration.

You will hire and grow a team of senior engineers, partner with Product, Design, Compliance, Legal, and other teams, and report to executive leadership. This role blends technical depth with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams with scaling responsibilities.
• 8+ years of overall engineering experience across frontend, backend, and on-chain components in Web3 contexts.
• Hands-on experience with Web3 building blocks including wallet connectivity and on-chain/off-chain payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for Web3 initiatives and translate priorities into a multi-quarter plan.
• Build, manage, and grow a team of senior to staff engineers, mentoring and defining career paths.
• Lead design and technical direction for workflows across wallets, transactions, settlements, and on-chain/off-chain orchestration.
• Own planning and delivery of multi-chain integrations and on-chain infrastructure for the organization.
• Partner with Product, Design, Compliance, Legal, and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into a coherent roadmap.
• Represent engineering in exec planning and reporting to influence company-wide roadmaps and resourcing.
