Job summary

Analysis Group seeks a Network and Data Center Manager in Boston to lead the firm’s network and data center infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable services. You will supervise the Network and Infrastructure Systems Engineering teams, set standards, and drive capacity planning and DR testing.

You will work across IT, Security, Cloud, and Service Desk teams, manage on-call coverage, and coordinate with vendors for hardware refreshes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years substantive relevant work experience; 10–15 years preferred.
• Experience leading infrastructure teams and mentoring staff.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, server, storage, virtualization, backup, and data center technologies.
• Experience with VMware and virtualization; Windows system administration and security; Linux/Unix a plus.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and IT operations best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Network and Infrastructure Systems Engineering teams with mentorship and performance management.
• Oversee design, configuration, and maintenance of network, server, storage, virtualization, backup, and data center infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership for Cisco networking technologies including routing and switching.
• Manage Dell server infrastructure and data center hardware, including storage and VMware.
• Own enterprise backup and recovery technologies for on-prem and cloud systems.
• Develop and test disaster recovery processes and maintain security requirements.
• Establish infrastructure standards, documentation, and asset management.
• Coordinate with Security, Cloud, Service Desk, and application teams; manage 24x7 on-call coverage.
