Descript is hiring a Lead Product Manager for the Narrative Editing team, shaping how users capture, edit, and perfect stories with script-first editing and AI-powered regeneration. You will guide the editor roadmap, craft intuitive defaults, and collaborate with AI Research to push video regeneration and speaker identification features.

You’ll own end-to-end workflows from recording to translation, while ensuring scalability for larger teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping creative tools or workflow products.
• Able to design intuitive experiences for complex end-to-end workflows.
• Customer-driven with strong discovery and feature-definition skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers and AI video landscape to guide editor roadmap.
• Incorporate Descript's taste for polished video into interactions and defaults.
• Collaborate with AI Research to deploy features like video regeneration and speaker ID.
• Own recording, script generation, and translation flows in end-to-end video workflows.
• Ensure the product scales for larger teams and complex workflows.
