Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior leader to head production and materials planning across three manufacturing facilities in the United States. You will develop and maintain master production schedules, balance demand with capacity, and drive improvements in schedule adherence, inventory performance, and customer service.

You will lead a distributed team of schedulers and material planners, collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning or scheduling in manufacturing.
• 2+ years leading production planners or schedulers.
• Direct production planning in food, beverage, dairy, or CPG manufacturing.
• Hands-on responsibility for MPS and RCCP.
• Experience planning across multiple plants or high-SKU operations.
• Strong MRP/ERP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SIOP/S&OP or Integrated Business Planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and materials planning across three facilities and ~500 active SKUs.
• Develop and maintain master production schedules balancing demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Use RCCP to identify potential constraints before commitments.
• Oversee detailed production scheduling based on plant capacity, changeovers, maintenance, and staffing.
• Lead and develop a distributed team of schedulers and planners.
• Establish consistent planning processes, expectations, and performance measures across facilities.
• Partner with Procurement to ensure availability of ingredients, packaging, and materials.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages.
• Support SIOP/IBP by translating demand into executable supply and production plans.
• Improve inventory performance while maintaining service levels and continuity.
• Evaluate planning technology and tooling to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Develop KPIs and reporting on schedule adherence, utilization, inventory, and service levels.
• Communicate risks and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.
