Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Production & Materials Planning to lead three facilities in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role centers on creating executable production plans that balance demand, inventory, and capacity across the network.

You will develop master schedules, apply RCCP to anticipate constraints, and build a capable planning team while partnering with Operations, Procurement, and Quality to improve service levels and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production planning, master scheduling, or supply planning in manufacturing.
• 2+ years leading schedulers or planners.
• Direct MPS and RCCP experience in food/beverage/CPG.
• Experience balancing materials, labor, capacity, and constraints.
• Experience planning across multiple plants and complex operations.
• Strong MRP/ERP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SIOP/IBP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production and materials planning across three facilities.
• Develop and maintain master production schedules balancing demand, inventory, materials and capacity.
• Use RCCP to identify constraints before they affect commitments.
• Oversee detailed scheduling based on capacity, changes, sanitation, maintenance, and staffing.
• Lead and develop a distributed team of schedulers and material planners.
• Establish consistent planning processes, expectations, and performance measures.
• Partner with Procurement to ensure ingredients and materials are available when production begins.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and risks.
• Support SIOP/IBP by translating demand plans into feasible supply plans.
• Improve inventory performance while maintaining service levels.
• Evaluate planning technology and tools to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Develop KPIs and reporting around schedule adherence and capacity utilization.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to senior leadership and partners.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
