Job summary

Confidential is a doctor-led dental group seeking a VP of Operations based in the Charlotte area. You will own operational and financial performance across all locations, manage budgets, and drive KPIs to sustain high-quality care.

Travel to practices is expected as we scale. You will lead Regional Directors and Practice Managers, build scalable reporting, and partner with clinical leadership to uphold our standard of care while promoting a doctor-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of operations leadership in healthcare, including at least 5 years overseeing 25+ locations in multi-site dental or a similar setting.
• Strong financial acumen and a track record of improving results across many sites.
• A reputation for accountability: you set the bar, measure against it, and address issues head-on.
• A hands-on, visible leadership style, and comfort with regular regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Own operational and financial performance across all locations, including office budgets and KPIs
• Lead and develop our Regional Directors of Operations and Practice Managers, with clear expectations and real follow-through.
• Identify underperforming areas quickly and act decisively to turn them around.
• Build scalable systems and reporting so performance is visible and consistent across every state.
• Partner with clinical leadership to uphold our standard of care
• Lead the operational integration of new office partnerships.
• Build a supportive, doctor-friendly culture that helps us keep great people, from clinicians to front desk.
