Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Director of Fabrication to oversee modular unit fabrication at a third-party fabricator. You will ensure fabrication aligns with project specs, quality standards, budget, and schedule, acting as the primary liaison among Audubon Engineering, the fabricator, and stakeholders.

The role requires extensive fabrication management experience in oil & gas or energy sectors, with on-site presence in Houston for initial months and eventual site-based work delivering

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in fabrication management, modular construction, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of modular fabrication, welding processes, structural steel, and piping systems.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, AWS, and other industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fabrication activities align with Audubon Engineering's design and quality standards.
• Manage project schedules and budgets for fabrication.
• Oversee on-site QA/QC, document control, and engineering support as required.
• Review fabrication plans, material requisitions, and work orders for compliance.
• Lead regular progress meetings with fabricator and internal teams to review status and actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Audubon Engineering, and VG safety standards.
• Mitigate fabrication, logistics, and execution risks throughout the project lifecycle.
