Transamerica is seeking a senior leader to head Model Risk Management Analytics & Reporting. You will own the MRM platform, ensure data integrity, and deliver reporting for senior committees.

The role requires extensive experience in model risk, internal controls, and leadership, with strong SQL/Python/R skills and a collaborative, fast-paced approach. The position is hybrid, located in Baltimore area, with a typical salary in the range of $170,000–$200,000 plus a 25% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, economics, finance, or related field required.
• 10+ years in model risk management or equivalent controls role.
• Proven leadership in risk management and internal controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analytics with charts and graphs.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Proficiency in Python or R for modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the MRM platform, ensuring data input, integrity, and reporting.
• Support BU teams with governance training, compliance, and reporting.
• Provide MRM platform training and model validation cycle planning.
• Lead analytics and reporting for model risk; develop materials for committees.
• Maintain and evolve the model risk scoring system and processes.
• Assist model validation with analytics and reporting as needed.
• Partner with BU stakeholders to enhance model risk culture.
