Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Director of Microgrid & Distributed Energy Strategy to lead end-to-end development of distributed energy projects. You will evaluate sites, design resilient electrical solutions, manage regulatory compliance, and drive financial viability at hyperscale.

This role requires hands-on experience moving projects from concept through energized infrastructure for Crusoe’s AI infrastructure portfolio.

Qualifications

• Own energy projects from identification through energization
• Experience at 200 MW scale or greater
• Technoeconomic modeling of solar/storage/gas
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Frontier Map across generation, storage, fuels, grid-edge solutions, and interconnection enablers with realistic feasibility and bankability
• Build technoeconomic models for microgrid topologies translating design to cost, uptime, and energy delivery
• Lead energy project incubation end-to-end from identification to energization
• Drive full development lifecycle: sourcing to financing to energization
• Own permitting, interconnection, and construction accountability through energization
