Monarch Quantum in San Diego, CA seeks a Manager of Mechanical Engineering to build and lead a growing team in a startup-like environment. You will drive design, verification, and production transitions for complex laser and photonic systems, partnering with Electrical, Optical and Software teams to ensure robust hardware development.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 5+ years of leadership experience, with hands-on execution and a passion for scalable, high-precision manufacturing

Qualificações

• 5+ years leading mechanical engineering teams.
• Experience with opto-mechanical system software architecture.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Workbench.
• Experience with precision mechanical assembly and laser/photonic systems.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of mechanical engineers.
• Lead design, verification, and production transition for laser and photonic systems.
• Develop and enforce mechanical engineering processes and tools.
• Plan projects across orgs to meet schedule and budget.
