Job summary

Velotic is seeking a Head of Strategic & Market Insights (SMI) to build and lead a modern insights function that informs strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution. The role sits at the intersection of market intelligence and business decision-making, transforming external signals into clear, actionable insight.

You will own analyst relations, monitor markets, and translate insights into recommendations for product, marketing, and revenue teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in analyst relations, market intelligence, strategy, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Experience working with or influencing product, marketing, and sales teams.
• Familiarity with analyst firms and competitive intelligence practices.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in industrial software, enterprise SaaS, or adjacent technology sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen relationships with key industry analysts and firms.
• Coordinate briefings, inquiries, and strategic engagements.
• Translate analyst research and interactions into actionable business recommendations.
• Ensure alignment with analyst citation and research usage guidelines.
• Manage analyst subscriptions, sponsorships, and research investments.
• Track competitors, offerings, positioning, and market movements.
• Deliver quarterly competitive landscape reports and executive briefings.
• Partner with product marketing to develop high-impact battlecards.
