Arbor Energy is seeking a Head of Manufacturing to scale our hardware from development to repeatable production. Based at our El Segundo HQ, you will own the manufacturing roadmap, translate designs into scalable processes, and lead cross-functional teams to meet aggressive growth milestones.

You’ll build capacity plans, evaluate make-vs-buy, and establish robust production systems, quality controls, and cost reduction strategies across machining, additive, and integration work streams.

Competenze

• 10+ years in manufacturing, industrialization, or production engineering with leadership.
• Experience taking first-of-a-kind hardware from prototype to repeatable production.
• Experience building manufacturing systems from ground up: process design, facility planning, supplier strategy.
• Production or production-intent experience with additive manufacturing, including qualification and yield.
• Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, test, and quality systems.
• Experience evaluating make-versus-buy and vertical integration decisions.
• Ability to model cost, capacity, capital needs, and tie to milestones.

• Develop and lead Arbor's manufacturing strategy and scale-up roadmap.

• Evaluate make-vs-buy, vertical integration, and supplier strategies.
• Pilot production strategy for critical components including additive processes.

• Create ramp and capacity plans for equipment, tooling, staffing, inventory.
• Establish manufacturing cadence and present decision-ready recommendations to leadership.
• Help define Arbor's manufacturing organization and build the team and partners.
