Job summary

Safe Life US LLC is seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Head of Mergers & Acquisitions to join our growing team in the United States. This role leads deals from initial meeting to closing, working closely with our Corporate Development team and the Sweden-based international M&A unit.

You will identify opportunities, build relationships with founders, and guide transactions with transparency. The position requires 5–10 years of M&A-related experience, strong analysis, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
5-10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or similar.
Strong understanding of the M&A transaction process with close experience preferred.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high EI and ability to build trust with entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities within priority markets.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with business owners and entrepreneurs.
Travel regularly to meet targets and develop relationships.
Lead acquisition discussions from first meeting through closing in partnership with the Corporate Development team.
Coordinate internal and external advisors throughout the transaction process.
