Job summary

Hirenexus seeks a senior M&A leader to build and run the in-house corporate development function in Milwaukee, with potential Chicago time. You will source targets, evaluate deals, and drive integration to realize the investment thesis.

Expect roughly one deal per quarter, with broad strategic work in parallel. Ideal candidates have an early career in investment banking or private equity, an MBA, and experience in PE-backed settings, board reporting, and value creation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Early career in investment banking or private equity.
• MBA with consulting exposure helpful for post-merger integration/value creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s M&A strategy with leadership and sponsor.
• Source targets, build pipeline, and manage relationships with owners and intermediaries.
• Represent the company to sellers, earn their trust, and lead due diligence with cross-functional teams.
• Structure and negotiate transactions and present recommendations to the board.
• Own integration planning and drive synergy capture post-close.
