Lead a team of 7+, manage the procurement budget, and collaborate with Wholesale, CSA, Warehousing, and Transportation to meet goals. Exempt role, 45+ hours weekly with seasonal flexibility.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5+ years in procurement/supply chain/purchasing management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to manage product categories balancing quality, service, risk, and cost.

• Direct and mentor a purchasing team of 7+ personnel.
• Oversee the purchasing budget with spend analysis and cost management.
• Maintain inventory control and procurement data to support multiple departments.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and management to source local and regional products.
• Lead crop planning and forecasting with local farms for sustainable supply.
• Ensure farms/vendors comply with growing practices and safety standards.
• Monitor market trends and crop availability to secure high-quality produce.
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve favorable terms and performance.
• Build trust-based partnerships with coop farms and internal/external networks.
• Maintain records of purchase history, costs, planning targets, and inventory.
