Security First Insurance Company seeks a Director of Litigation Strategies and Outcomes to lead the litigated claims program, overseeing staff counsel, outside counsel, and litigation operations to drive favorable outcomes and cost containment.

You will develop and implement enterprise litigation strategies, govern case administration, budgets, and regulatory compliance, while developing leaders and ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications

• 12 years of Florida civil litigation and property and casualty claims litigation experience.
• 7 years of leadership/management experience, including 5 years leading attorneys or claims leaders.

Responsabilités

• Provide enterprise-level leadership and oversight for Staff Counsel and Claims Legal teams.
• Set litigation strategy and standards for all litigated claims and outcomes.
• Oversee outside and staff counsel strategy, governance, and cost management.
• Monitor litigation budgets, spend, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting.
• Oversee staffing, case administration, and timely progression of litigated claims.
• Synthesize enterprise litigation data for senior leadership.
• Direct escalation on high-risk or material litigated matters.
