Job summary

Blue Man Group Orlando is seeking a Head of Lighting and Video to lead the Lighting and Video Department for all shows. The role oversees equipment, safety, staffing, and show cueing across live productions.

The Head will manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and budget with a focus on collaboration with Production and Stage Management to ensure seamless performances and adherence to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts or equivalent; or relevant work experience.
• At least 5 years of previous leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lighting and Video.
• Ability to manage a team in high‑pressure environments.
• Experience with High End Systems HOG consoles and live video operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Lighting and Video team; oversee department operations.
• Oversee safety and operational compliance for all lighting and video elements.
• Create and manage department schedules and show cue tracks.
• Train and develop department staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain budget and procurement processes for equipment and supplies.
• Liaise with Stage Management, Production, and other departments.
