Job summary

MassMutual seeks a Director of Life Products Financial Reporting to lead the valuation and financial reporting for all life products, reporting to the Head of Life Products Valuation & Projections. This is a full-time role based in Boston, MA or Springfield, MA.

The role requires strong valuation knowledge, leadership capabilities, and experience with participating whole life, term life, and other life insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; advanced actuarial credentials preferred.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and strong valuation/regulatory knowledge are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the life products valuation and financial reporting function.
• Lead a team of actuarial and quantitative professionals; drive timely, accurate reporting.
• Act as a trusted partner to internal and external stakeholders; communicate results clearly.
• Develop and implement valuation methodologies, data governance, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new business initiatives and capital planning.
